Grasslands Golf & Country Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Lakeland, Florida
Grasslands Golf & Country Club first opened for play in 1990. Grasslands is traditional golf in a modern atmosphere. The course was designed by Jerry Pate & Bob Cupp and restored in 2008 by the Jerry Pate Design Group. The greens were converted to "Champion" ultra-dwarf Bermuda grass, the tee boxes were rebuilt, and there were bunker-work and beautification changes.
The signature hole is #17, a 425-yard, par 4, with water coming into play on the left side of the fairway and requiring two long accurate shots in order to reach this green in regulation. Only members are allowed to walk the course.
Blue tees; par-72, 7,040 yards, 74.5 / 132
White tees; par-72, 6,521 yards, 72.6 / 128
Red tees; par-72, 5,468 yards, 71.9 / 125
